Here are videos from BOTH items from the Friday, October 15, 2010 Los Angeles City Council agenda where a Councilmember, under 32 indictments, wanted to transfer money from the Lopez Canyon Landfill Community Trust Fund -- to pay for NEXT YEAR'S (2011) FIREWORKS DISPLAY and for a Christmas Parade. (It should be noted that it is alleged that the councilmember (and his pal) is part of the annual firework display organization, up for the money transfer.
The sudden emergency to transfer money from a trust fund to pay for NEXT YEAR'S FIREWORKS, in a budget crisis, when the Councilmember is expected to be stepping down from the seat raised a flag among two of the people in sitting in the chamber audience.
