Word is ALL OVER Los Angeles on the MASSIVE wave of CORRUPTION that is running RAMPANT throughout the Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) under the shady grip of Asst GM ROBERTO ALDAPE.
A memo detail Mr. Aldape's performance and alleged illegal tactics was circulated, sent to LA City News -- and the can of worms has been open and is being smeared and exposed all over City TV 35 during the council meetings and on this blog that is experiencing record level of views. And a lot of traffic is being driven by Google referral links for "Roberto Aldape" - "LAHD" - "LACITYNEWS" and other keywords, that signal a huge buzz has been unleashed surrounding the way LAHD is operating.
This week, it was reported in Los Angeles Times that an FBI investigation is currently underway, regarding a powerful LA developer, affordable housing, bribes and illegal campaign contributions.
If you are a landlord/property owner reading this, you know all you need to know about Roberto Aldape. This is more than shady. It's a PUBLIC SAFETY ISSUE. CALL TO ACTION FOR TUESDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2010: Please show up to L.A. City Hall on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 by exactly 10am to join other Los Angeles property owners (and any affected tenants, as well) to tell L.A. City Council you demand the removal of ROBERTO ALDAPE from LAHD.
